FXR Friends Throwdown

“Its about brotherhood, and doing what we love the most, riding side by side, enjoying each other’s company.” Jason Mook with Deadwood Custom Cycles in Deadwood, SD paints the perfect picture of what riding and building custom motorcycles means to him. Mook and five other famous custom motorcycle builders have decided to host a friendly competition and build some of the best custom bikes from the greatest model Harley-Davidson ever created, the FXR. Paul Yaffe, Brian Klock, Curtis Hoffman, Jeff Zielinski, Nick Trask and Jason Mook are the six builders in the FXR Friends Throwdown. “Nobody like me in their right mind would challenge a guy like Paul Yaffe to a build-off, he would crush me.” Mook examples that they had to make it clear that this wasn’t some cutthroat build-off competition, even though it was the best six builders in the business. They are just doing what they love.

The plan is to reveal the FXR custom bikes at Arizona Bike week in 2022. The Law Tigers have joined in on the fun as COO Ari Levenbaum purchased a 1985 FXR while in Sturgis. It will be getting customized by Jason Mook himself. Stay tuned for updates throughout the competition on their social media throughout this winter.
